Meet the Doctor
Chiropractor
Abigail Parris D.C.
Location: Sherman TX
Dr. Parris is a Texas native originally from Abilene, TX. She first heard about chiropractic while obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in French and commissioning as a U.S. Army Officer through the ROTC Program at the University of Oklahoma.
While in ROTC, many of her peers faced migraine, back, and hip problems that hindered and threatened their future Army careers. After chiropractic treatment, not only were her peers healing and feeling better, they were able to complete the ROTC program, commission as officers, and lead successful military careers. Seeing how chiropractic changed lives, especially in the military community, inspired Dr. Parris to pursue chiropractic.
Dr. Parris attended Parker University and graduated December 2019. During her time at Parker, she participated in student clinical rotations at the Chillicothe, OH Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she encountered a wide variety of conditions and cases.
Dr. Parris practices the following techniques: Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Extremity Adjusting, Upper Cervical, Activator, Sacro-Occipital technique, adjusting pregnant patients, and pediatric adjusting.
